541. Daniel Monroe CLAPP was born on 2 February 1821 in NC.⁴⁶¹ He was baptized on 22 April 1821 in Guilford Co., NC. By Rev. Jcob Sherer. He died on 12 December 1857 at the age of 36 in Carlisle Co., KY.⁴⁶¹ Daniel was buried in December 1857 in Palestine Church Cemetery, Carlisle Co., KY.⁴⁶¹ About 1845 they moved from NC to Missouri, and lived there about 2 years. They then came to Kentucky and settled in what is now Carlisle County, KY. They had one son and five daughters.
