143. Elizabeth CLAPP was born on 21 January 1774 in NC.⁵⁶ She died on 25 April 1870 at the age of 96 in NC.⁵⁶ Buried at the Brick Church. I had this date (9 Sep 1842) before seeing the Bible record. Buried in the Brick Church Cemetery. Elizabeth joined the Brick Church 15 Sep 1788. See pages 16 and 259 of the ACB book. Baptized 20 Feb 1774 in the Brick Church. Birth and death date from stone. Death date in the Albright Family Bible is 25 April 1870. See page 5, Sept 1984 of the Alamance Genealogist.

Elizabeth CLAPP and Daniel ALBRIGHT obtained a marriage license on 9 October 1792 in Guilford Co., NC. They were married on 10 October 1792.¹²⁰ Married by the P.M. (?) according to Brick Church records. Daniel ALBRIGHT, son of Ludwig ALBRIGHT and Anna Maria (Mariah) KELLER, was born on 30 January 1771 in NC.^56,120,121 He signed a will on 5 August 1826 in Orange Co., NC.¹²² Wife's name not stated. "Son-in-law William Montgomery and daughter Sarah." "My grandchildren", number and names not stated. His wife is to choose and executor. Witnesses: Elias Albright, John Clapp. He died on 26 April 1843 at the age of 72 in NC.^121,123 Age 72 years, 2 months and 26 days. Daniel was buried in April 1843 in Brick Church Cemetery, Guilford Co., NC.¹²¹ Buried at the Brick Church although he was a member of Frieden's Church at time of death. At his funeral the minister called him "an excellent man". Will proven for name at place on date.¹²² Will Book F 176 Daniel was a postmaster about 40 years. Member of Frieden's Church. Daniel's will dated 5 Aug 1826, probated May 1843 (Will book F, PAGE 176, Orange Co., NC) witnesses Elias Albright and John Clapp - He had one child.
