MRS. MARY JANE FOSTER
Mrs. Mary Jane Foster, 83, died at 2 o'clock this morning at her home. R. F. D., Whitsett, near the Brick church, after an illness of four weeks, Mrs. Foster was the widow of the late W. A. Foster, and a native of Guilford county. She was a member of the Brick church.
Mrs. Foster is survived by two sons, C. W. Foster, of Salisbury, and J. A. Foster, of Whitsett, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Brick Reformed church by the Rev. Charles E. Hiatt, pastor of the church. Interment will be in the church cemetery . Mary was buried on 28 August 1934 in Brick Church Cemetery, Guilford Co., NC.⁵⁶⁷

William A. Foster aged 78 years Died Last Night
William A. Foster, aged 78 years, died last night at 9:15 o'clock at his home on Route 1, Whitsett, near Brick Church, following a lengthy illness a month of which he was critically ill. He was born in Chatham County, but had spent practically all his life in this section.
He was a loyal member of Brick church and the funeral service will be held there Thursday noon by Rev. W. C. L----- of Greensboro with interment following in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife and two sons C. W. (?Sansbury) and J. A. Foster, Route 1, Whitsett and by a brother John Foster, Greensboro. He was buried on 10 December 1931 in Brick Church Cemetery, Guilford Co., NC.^567,2088
