E. Church in Howard Co., IN. He was a Methodist Episcopal Minister as was his son Daniel. In November 1921, the Kokomo Dispatch ran the following news repeat in its 50 year column: "William Albright, a native of NC but a resident of this county since 1849, died at his home near this city after a two-week illness of typhoid fever. He was in his 73rd year. He was a brick and stone mason and had helped build many of Kokomo's early buildings. He was also a licensed preacher of the M. E. Church and was widely known among the good people of the community. Albright Chapel and Albright Cemetery were named for him." They moved from TN to Ohio in 1834 or 1835. Rev. William ALBRIGHT and Elizabeth SNODERLY249 were married on 28 October 1818 in Howard Co., IN.250 The family moved from TN to Ohio in 1834 or 1835. Apparently William's family only lived in Ohio for 10 or 15 years. John moved into Indiana about 1844, the rest of the family following about 1848 or 1849. THey settled in what is now Howard County, near the present site of Kokomo. Elizabeth SNODERLY, daughter of Henry SNODERLY and Mary WHITSON, was born on 16 January 1798 in NC.246,250 She died on 16 January 1873 at the age of 75 in Howard Co., IN.246,250 She was buried in January 1873 in Albright Cemetery, Kokomo, Howard Co., IN.250 Rev.
