55. Valentine "Felty" CLAPP was born in 1752 in NC. He died before 1840 at the age of 88 in Clark Co., IN.⁵⁰ He was buried in Mt. Vernon Presbyterian Cemetery, New Market, Clark Co., IN.⁵¹ Felty and family are listed in the 1800 and 1810 censuses of Guilford Co., NC. Later they moved to Clark Co., Indiana, where many deeds and other records are found. No primary evidence that Lizzie is child of Felty and Maria.

Maria ROGERS, daughter of William ROGERS, died after 4 March 1826 in Clark Co., IN.⁵⁰
