He was buried in April 1859 in Scipio Cemetery, Jennings Co., IN. Peter bought all the mills of his father in Indiana when his father moved to Iowa. Peter and his family and others are listed in the 1850 Census of Geneva Twp., Jennings Co., IN. Peter is listed as a manufacturer with 5000 in property. Name is spelled KLAPP in census.
