Velma Hanks Hannah, 94, died Tuesday, April 28, 1998 in her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born September 28, 1903, in the Prospect Community near Ozark. She was preceded in death by her parents, her hus­band Hugh, by her son Bill, and by one sister Muriel Fulton. Survivors include: one sister, Alta Kissee, Ozark, two grand­children, Ray Dean Hannah, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Donna Beaty, Lubbock, Texas, her daughter-in-law Betty Mauldin and husband Gil; two great-grandsons of Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services were held Friday, May 1, 1998, 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Baptist Church with burial in Fairview Memorial Park, Albuquerque, New Mexico. Velma was buried on 1 May 1998 in Fairview Memorial Park, Albuquerque, NM.

Hugh B. Hannah, 74 and a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico since 1937, passed away in a Albuquerque hospital last Wednesday. He is survived by his wife, Velma of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Daniels, Ozark, Mrs. Edna Shelton, Ozark and Mrs. Helen Gibson, Springfield; two brothers, Herbert and Alvin Hannah, both of Ozark; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was a member of the Riverside Baptist Church and a plasterer contractor in Albuquerque for a number of years. Memorial services were held Saturday in Riverside Baptist Church with interment in Fairview Memorial Park in Albuquerque. Hugh was buried on 8 March 1975 in Fairview Memorial Park, Albuquerque, NM.
