Funeral services for G. T. "Tom" Hanks, 85, a retired farmer and stockman and lifelong resident of the Ozark community who died at 2:05 p.m. Saturday in Burge-Protestant Hospital, Springfield were at 2 p.m. Monday in the Harris Chapel at Ozark with the Rev. Allen Harrison and the Rev. Omer O. Ruark officiating. Burial was in Ozark Cemetery. Survivors of Mr. Hanks, a member of Prospect Baptist Church are his wife, Finis; three daughters, Mrs. Alta Kissee, Ozark, Mrs. Velma Hannah, Albuquerque, N. M. and Mrs. Murial Fulton, Springfield; one sister, Mrs. Iza Beamon, Ozark; two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Tom was buried on 17 April 1967 in Ozark Cemetery, Ozark, MO. He had Social Security Number 490-28-3329.

George Thomas "Tom" HANKS and Ollie NASH were married on 16 November 1902 in Christian Co., MO. Book 7, page 91. Married by G. B. Melton, M. G. Ollie NASH, daughter of William A. NASH and Elmina Parlee (?), was born on 2 August 1883. She died on 15 January 1908 at the age of 24.
