Mrs. Myra Barnhart Clapp, 73 years, wife of C. T. M. Clapp died that morning at, 4 o'clock at their home at Whitsett, following several weeks illness of paralysis. She was a native of that section, and had been a member of Brick church from girlhood. she had the love and esteem of a large circle of friends and relatives.
Funeral service will be held at Brick church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock by her pastor, Rev. C. E. Hiatt, assisted by Rev. H. A. Fesperman, of Greensboro, and interment will be made in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband and the following sons and daughters, Miss Minnie Clapp, Whitsett, Mrs. G. H. Parker, Spartanburg, S. C., Mrs. W. E. Rowland, Rocky Mount, Mrs. C.N. Morrison, Greensboro, Mrs. R. L. Boring, Reidsville, Mrs. W. E. Williams, Battleboro, J. W. Clapp, Florence, S.C., and H. M. Clapp, Charlotte. She is also survived by two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Alfred Alexander, Liberty, Miss Aurelia Barnhart, Burlington, and C. C. Barnhart, High Point; and by sixteen grandchildren.
Myra was buried on 14 March 1930 in Brick Church Cemetery, Guilford Co., NC.820 Obituary of Charles has her name Earnhardt.

Whitsett, Jan. 12.—Charles T. M. Clapp, 91, a life-long resident of Whitsett, died at his home here last night at 5 o'clock after a critical illness of four days.
Husband of the late Mrs. Myra Earnhardt Clapp, who died in 1930, Mr. Clapp was the son of the late George W. and Martha Reitzel Clapp and was born in Guilford county.
Rev. A. R. Detwiler, pastor, and Dr. Harvey A. Fesperman of Burlington will conduct the final rites at the Brick Evangelical Reformed Church at 11 o'clock tomorrow morning. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include six daughters, Miss Minnie Clapp, Whitsett, Mrs. George Parker, Reidsville; Mrs. W. E. Rowland, Rocky Mount; Mrs. W. E. Williams, Rocky Mount; Mrs. C. N. Morrison, McConnelsville, S. C.; and Mrs. R. L. Boring, Lexington, Ky.; Two sons, J. W. Clapp, Florence, S. C., and H. M. Clapp of Charlotte; two sisters, Mamie Clapp and Georgia Clapp, both of Gibsonville; two brothers, Gurney G. Clapp of Gibsonville and Carl Clapp of Charleston; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Whitsett, Jan. 14.—Final rites for Charles T. M. Clapp, 91, who died Tuesday, were held at the Brick Evangelical and Reformed Church yesterday morning at 11 o'clock with services conducted by Rev. A. R. Detwiller, pastor of the church.
Burial was in the church cemetery and music was rendered by the church choir.
Pallbearers were Odis Noah, Odis Clapp, Albert Smith, Clay Perrett, Dean Torreyson and Troy Perkins.
Flower bearers, with Mrs. G. C. McKaughon in charge, were Miss Ruby Woodard and Mesdames C. O'Briant, Egbert Ingle, C. B. Ingle, L. A. Wharton, S. A. Dow, V. T. Whitsett, S. W. Reece, J. W. Foster and J. H. Joyner. He was buried on 13 January 1949 in Brick Church Cemetery, Guilford Co., NC.820
