Clapp, 90, of Springview Assisted Living, Burlington and formerly of Graham died at the Hospice Home in Burlington on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 7:55 a.m. following several years of declining health. A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Charles Floyd “Dutch” Clapp and Beatrice Murray Clapp, both deceased. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Graham. Survivors include one brother, Wade Clapp and wife Brenda of Haw River. She was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Lane Vincent and three brothers, Charles, Earl and Ed Clapp. A private burial service will be held. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance Caswell, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215. Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham is in charge of arrangements.
