Edith E. Clapp, 90, of Springview Assisted Living, Burlington and formerly of Graham died at the Hospice Home in Burlington on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 7:55 a.m. following several years of declining health.
A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of Charles Floyd “Dutch” Clapp and Beatrice Murray Clapp, both deceased. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Graham.
Survivors include one brother, Wade Clapp and wife Brenda of Haw River.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Martha Lane Vincent and three brothers, Charles, Earl and Ed Clapp.
A private burial service will be held.
