Kimesville, Nov. 27.-The funeral for Luther Banks Clapp, 64, of Route 3,
Liberty, at Kimesville, who died on Wednesday, was held at the Mt.
Pleasant Methodist Church yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with
burial in the church cemetery.
Rev. J. A. Burgess, a former pastor, officiated, and music was by the
church choir. The deceased was a member of the church.
Pallbearers included Earl Clapp, Clifton Clapp, L. G. Clapp, James
Clapp, Clarence Clapp and Vernon Bowman.
He was buried on 27 November 1948 in Mt. Pleasant UMC Church, Kimesville, Alamance Co., NC.
