Solomon GRAVES was born on 15 May 1797 in Tazewell, Claiborne Co., TN.^30,95 He died on 14 August 1863 in De Kalb, Buchanan Co., MO.^30,95 He was buried in August 1863 in Bethel Church Cemetery, De Kalb, Buchanan Co., MO.⁹⁵ Moved from TN to MO by boat, arriving at Weston on 7 Mar 1842. They settled at
De Kalb on eighty acres adjoining the town to the north.
