56. John Phillip CLAPP Jr. was born on 8 January 1753 in Guilford Co., NC. He died on 11 December 1812 at the age of 59 in Hillsborough, Orange Co., NC. In 1787 he purchased land in Randolph Co., NC on Sandy Creek. Two hundred acres of the purchased were willed to his son John in 1798.
