Ludwig Clapp was a minister of the German Reformed Church. He was living in Anderson Co., TN in 1805-06. Later he moved his family to Alabama, near Huntsville in Honey Comb Valley. He was in Madison Co., AL in 1809, moved to KY about 1830 and died there. Ludwig Lewis CLAPP and Margaret Ann LOY were married in June 1787 in Guilford Co., NC. Margaret Ann LOY, daughter of George LOY and Catherine TILLMAN, was born on 15 August 1773 in Orange Co., NC.61 She died on 15 December 1855 at the age of 82 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake Co., UT.61 Ludwig Lewis CLAPP and Margaret Ann LOY had the following children:
