Sam W. Brazeale, 75 of 1025 West Webster, Springfield, died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday in Mercy Villa after a lingering illness. Surviving are his wife, Leona; two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine McIntosh, and Mrs. Alleine Maples, both of Springfield; five sons, Walter, Ozark, Herbert. St. Louis, Lyle, Halltown and Jack and Bill, both of Springfield; and 19 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Monday in Ayre-Goodwin Chapel, Springfield, with Rev. Don Sheppard officiating. Burial was in Selmore Cemetery south of Ozark. He was buried on 29 November 1965 in Selmore Cemetery, Finley Twp., Christian Co., MO.
