Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon in the Chaffin Funeral Home for Mrs. Laura Emmon Page, widow of the late Samuel A. Page, who died Sunday at the age of 80. Services were conducted by the Rev. Raymond Lloyd. Burial was in the Selmore Cemetery. Mrs. Page was born July 17, 1869. On July 17, 1887, she married Samuel a Page. To them five children were born. Two daughters preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons, 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Page was a former resident of Christian County and a retired farmer. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist church. He is survived by two brothers, Hubert Page of Ozark and Amon Page of 1101 North Clinton in Springfield.
